This year we've teamed up with pvi collective and Midlands Junction Arts Centre to bring you KISS Club 2023. Here's all the performers that you will be able to see with their work in progress pieces on stage!

Happening on both 19 April 2023 and 20 April 2023 from
7PM to 8PM on both days.

Julie Ziegenhardt + Naoko Uemoto

Naoko and Julie are a duo creating immersive experiences at the intersection of dualities, exploring the boundaries between seemingly binary elements. Grounded in multidisciplinary research, they draw inspiration from the intrinsic materiality of sound using live, electroacoustic music in tandem with live visuals.


CRUSH

Benjamin Quirk

Benjamin Quirk is an actor and writer based in boorloo. His writing has been published in Pulch, On Dit and The Messenger. Theatre credits include Time Capsule (2022) and Woof (2022). In 2023 he made his solo debut as part of The Blue Room Theatre’s 600 Seconds season. He is a graduate of the University of Adelaide and WAAPA.

The Slug Collective

Marli Jupiter is a performance maker whose work deals with queer existence and social narratives. They operate across multidisciplinary storytelling modes as a performer, director, writer, and devisor. Their work encompasses drag and puppet theatre (Bricks 2022, The State 2023), political satire, dance and physical theatre (Wakey Wakey 2022).

Delaney Brooklyn Burke + Ray Teakle

Delaney Brooklyn Burke (she/her) is a Boorloo based performance maker, dancer, and WAAPA graduate with a passion for interdisciplinary theatre. Delaney’s background in dance and music is the foundation of her practice. Her recent work includes Trick or Treat, Bitches (2022), She’s Terribly Greedy (2022), and Wendy (2022).

Sailing with Styx Theatre

Sailing With Styx is a theatre company comprised of emerging creatives dedicated to telling stories that are intersectional and honest, with the goal of interrogating and further converting the ‘converted’. We uncover the reality in myth, and the myth in reality.
