prometheus

  • The Blue Room Theatre 53 James Street Mall Perth, WA, 6000 Australia (map)

Prometheus created man, but we create us.

Sit fireside to behold a medley of poetry, music, and movement as three storytellers and one musician unite to reflect on their relationship to power and their body in this new production from ‘perhaps, a theatre company’.

Prometheus sets the stage alight, inviting you to look within and nurture that spark that flickers inside of you. A celebration of humanity moulded from myth and modern muses, this explosive retelling de-centres the heroes and lifts the veil on invisible suffering.

Join us for the prometheus performance on Tuesday April 9, 5.30pm – 6.30pm at The Blue Room Theatre and if you’re curious to know all about the magic hidden behind the creation of prometheus, head for the Finding Meaning in the Myth workshop Wednesday April 10, 10am – 12pm.

About perhaps, a theatre company:

'perhaps. a theatre company', created by emmett aster, is a semi-professional theatre company blurring the lines that separate theatre from other art forms to tell human stories and explore the feelings that, perhaps, we've all felt.

The event is wheelchair accessible, welcoming to companion card holders and support persons, and support animal friendly. More Access Info
